| Bishops Dinner an Outstanding Success! |
| A sold out venue at the Italian Canadian Club had over 500 guests participating in our 7th Annual Bishop's Dinner for Catholic Education. We were very pleased that Bishop Anthony Tonnos could join us again. Preliminary results from the evening come to $25,000 all of which will be invested in the completion our Student Retreat Centre on the campus of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre just north of the city.

| United Way Campaign Ramps Up |
| Our campaign for this year runs through the entire month of October. Our long standing history of substantial support for the United Way of Guelph & Wellington is a very significant component of the public sector campaign. Adults and students are aware of the many needs in our communities and these are exacerbated by the fragile economy and significant job loss in Ontario Pledge cards are available at each site per the Employee Campaign Coordinators on each of our sites. |

| The Human Resources Department & and the Board provide a superb tribute dinner to those in our ranks who have completed a quarter century of service or who have just retired.
